Error just after installation *URGENT HELP!*

    So I’m trying to install wordpress on a clients site and after the initial set up page I get a long string of errors mainly containing this one bit:

    “WordPress database error: [Access denied for user ‘pyaraaveda’@’localhost’ to database ‘mysql’]”

    I’m not sure what all of this means… And I gotta say I’m starting to hate Yahoo Small Business

    Anyone have any insight on this? I can’t check anything through phpMyAdmin as that seems to be broken as well and no one is picking up at Yahoo… I’ve tried running their version of a “database repair” but it seems to have done nothing…

    Any thoughts?

    I’ve called the hosting provider and all of the information (DB_NAME, _USER, _PASSWORD, and _HOST) are all correct.

    This is driving me insane… I NEVER have trouble setting up a site when I do it through my hosting…

    They claim there’s nothing they can do and that it’s a WordPress problem.

    it sounds like the user doesn’t have the correct access rights to the database.

    ask your hosting provider for phpmyadmin access so you can go in and look.

    if I remember right in yahoo you have to install phpmyadmin in a folder check for that .
