error in installing forum plugin

hello,

I uploaded a forum plugin to my blog ; this is the plugin http://www.fahlstad.se/wp-plugins/wp-forum .
It does not come up in plugin list I think this is because it is missing a header – http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Installing_Plugins
I read there totorial but i still don t understand any more tips ?

ps- i found this in manage > uploads > files > Editing index.php

In all honestly, we’ve removed that plugin from all of our installs as the author had gone missing and there was a number of issues. Not sure what the situation is currently but we’re using the Simple Forum plugin and we like it a lot better:

You may want to post on the forums at fahstad.se as I believe there were folks there trying to help out.
