hi guys, i've searched all related topics but can't find the right solution to this problem.

i created a new database, a new user with the same username with the main database, and was transferring some files using filezilla, i was kinda forget about it and trying to go to the admin panel of my blog at the same time, it suddenly gives me this error message: Error establishing a database connection

i can connect the server using filezilla and cpanel is ok, but can't access my site and the admin panel, what should i do to fix this?

    thanks a lot!

Either there is a problem with the database you created or the connection details in your wp-config.php file aren't correct.

I mean the username, password, database name and database location that WordPress uses to connect to your database. There should be a file called wp-config.php in the root directory of your site. That file contains those connection details.

I just tried following the steps in that guide, everything checks out fine. I still get the error though!
