No ! icheck with my hosting . he said everthing is fine at our end…
double check your wordpress config file db settings to make sure its all good. Make sure you still have a user for your db in phpmyadmin. If that doesn’t solve anything then maybe try a backup assuming you have one.

I’m having the same problem but mine is a new installed version 2.6.3
at the end of install it says
error establishing a data connection.
Which password should we use here wp-config.php
is it the cpanel(sent thru email), the billing or the one we filled out when we signed in for hostgator account for the first time ( we supplied this)
If your host is saying nothing is wrong, then something has changed on your site itself.
Did you add any more plugins? Remove these from the server and retest.
For your own piece of mind, I’d back up the database through cPanel.
Im having the same problem. I want to know how i can get to my cpanel since that is also not loading. I tried wp-admin, cpanel and even ftp software but I cant seem to get connected to anything.
What did I do wrong?
