502 errors are very tricky to resolve, take a look at your server logs there might be more detail in there as to what the exact problem is.
The server logs don’t show anything. I really enjoy your plugin and it is perfect for what I want to do. Is there any way I could fix this that you know of? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Take a look at your DNS configuration and make sure that everything is pointing to the correct IP address. You can also try clearing your browser cache and seeing if upload works then.
I have done all of this and am still receiving the error.
The next thing you can try is disabling all other plugins and see if the problem remains.
change to a default WordPress theme, e.g. Twenty 16 and see what happens
I have done this and the problem still persists. I have also gone and installed your plugin on another website of mine and I get the same error there. I have cleared my cookies and cache. I have changed themes, deactivated all other plugins. After doing all this the problem persists on 2 separate websites. I can’t figure out if this is a hosting problem or what but I would love to have it fixed. Thank you for your patience.
hmm I’m at a lost of what my be causing the issue. You may need to change your apache error setting to see if you can get some information from your error logs. With out that information its anyones guess as to what is causing the issue.
