Check your web server error_log for any errors.
Oh and what web server and what version of that web server are you using ?

@josé
Disable the Database Backups module.

FWIW, this is usually a site/hosting issue – not a plugin one.
There are three ways to increase PHP’s memory allocation:
1. If you can edit or override the system php.ini file, increase the memory limit. For example, memory_limit = 256M
2. If you cannot edit or override the system php.ini file, add php_value memory_limit 256M to your .htaccess file.
3. If neither of these work, it’s time to ask your hosting provider to temporarily increase PHP’s memory allocation on your account.
@esmi
I have put memory_limit = 512M
There is an offtopic post here.
However, is your plugin compatible with PHP7 or not ?
I am getting error 500 when using php7 on backend

Same error has occurred on my site also.
and there will be a 0.5% of downtime on my server.
While accessing the website, it shows 500 error, but it will be ok after a refresh.
Disabled the ‘Backup module’ like dwinden mentioned. Seems its resolved now.
Thanks.
