• Hello,

I upgraded my blog to WP 2.9 and since then, it is showing this error below when I tried to post a blog that is more than 255-word. Any post less than 250 words is posting correctly with no issues. The error page says:

    “Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

    – Do anybody know how to fix this problem?
    – If not, is it possible to roll back to WP-2.8.6?

    Thanks.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    esmi,

    Thank you for your response.

I have deactivated and reactivated all plugins and I still face the same problem.

My issue changed to “Not able to post any article at all”.

But my issue is fixed now. I contacted my hosting company and they fixed it. This was what they said:

This is a know issue with wordpress where it conflicts with mod_security.

I have disabled it for your account now.

And that fixed the problem. If you are having the same problem like mine, talk to your hosting company.

    Thanks,
    Solomon.
