    Hi All,

I’m here to seek advise on how to resolve the problem on error 403.

The reason why to asking here is because the HOSTGATOR admin mentioned that is because of this plugin cause the error.

Below is the reply from hosting company:

We were able to submit a booking sucessfully, and received no errors. We do see in the logs that there are 403 results occurring, but we can not correlate them with any error log results, either in the PHP error log or the Apache error log. Any process limitations would have manifested as 500 errors, and most security hits would have been 406 or 409 errors.

In the .htaccess file of the site, we found a very large number of redirects which result in 403 errors, for a wide variety of strings. The All-In-One WP Security plugin seems to be what has added them; we would recommend checking the settings for this plugin, to see if you can whitelist some of your pages, to ensure that they are not inadvertently blocked.

Deactivate all of the firewall rules and reactivate one by one until you find the one which is causing the issue and then leave that rule inactive.

    Hi Thanks for your advise.

There is too many rules there and I just can’t test it, because only only some of my customer can’t submit the form and not every time.

However, can you guide me which firewall rule cause the REDIRECT 403 on my website. Because there is around 200 redirect rules has been created on my cpanel right now after installing the plugin.

Hi Can anyone help me to change the rules on the plugin so that those 200 redirect rules can be disabled ?

It’s not that hard at all – there are only a handful of checkboxes in the firewall settings menu you need to leave disabled.
In your case probably some or all of the checkboxes in “Additional Firewall Rules” tab and maybe even the “5G Blacklist Firewall Rules” tab too.

    Hi Sir,

    What Should I do?

    Please try the following steps:

Go to the AIOWPS “Settings” menu and scroll to the bottom.
Click the “Disable All Firewall Rules” button.

This will clear all the firewall rules from your .htaccess file. Then let me know if the problem persists.
