Enhanced link help?

I downloaded the current version of the Enhanced Links plugin, after seeing that the author used it in a way that I was interested in using it. Not in my sidebar, but on one of my blog pages to display a series of links that would slide down when the link header was clicked on.

I’ve installed and activated it, have pasted in the code that the author provided.. but it doesn’t work. I do not know if there is anything I am supposed to do as far as adding the links in a certain way. Also, when I added the code directed to, WP alters a bit of it inside the brackets.

I have requested support at the author’s blog, but do not know if I will get a response any time soon. Have any of you used this plugin and can you give me more specific info on what one needs to do to utilize it?
