I have a problem with my blog which is going to be in finnish when I get it working okay, only thing that isn’t working is the encoding. Admin cp looks okay with the scandinavian letters but my posts/comments on the site don’t show up right.. you can check it here –> http://midnight-passion.net/johanna I’ve edited the index very heavily and taken most of the actions away, all I really need is the blog bit.. so just let me know if I’ve taken away too much :] oh Oh and I’m using the 1.2.2. version.

  • First, I seriously recommend you upgrade to version 1.5.1.2 – it will be a much better decision. Why waste time with a very obsolete version. You will be much happier. I know you’ve done work on 1.2 already, but it’s worth the upgrade.

Second, check out the following for information on using WordPress in different languages.

Why did you modified the character encoding to iso-8859-1? Leave it as utf-8 and all your characters (Pääätä ei häntäääää ööööööö
Mitenköhän tämä toimii, näkyyköhän skandit vieläkään kunnolla????)
    will be correct.

I have left it as UTF-8, but it still won’t work. And I’m much more comfortable working with this previous version since I’ve done A LOT of work skinning my site.
