I am trying to enable wordpress multisites on a windows hosting plan through godaddy. I am able to get the mainsite up and running and I am able to add sites through the dashboard but when I try to access any of the other sites other than my main site I get a 404 page not found error. The only instruction that I have not been able to follow is in editing my web.config file. I cannot find an existing web.config file in any folder of my hosting account. When I create a web.config file and paste the code into it as directed by the instructions within wordpress I get a 500 error and I am not able to access my website at all. Any help would be appreciated.

    -have you discussed with godaddy?

-also review this codex article and see if it helps: http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

Gave up Godaddy does not support apps it provides, recommended to install multiple instaces of wp for each domain I want to host.
