Enabling author metadata for pages?

    Hi there.

    When an author has specified his or her personal social media profiles the author name and a link shows up beneath the content as metadata on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, giving credit to the author. Despite having defined an author for a WordPress page, it seems that WordPress SEO doesn’t pull this information and display it like it does for posts. Is there a way to enable this?

    I’m asking because I’ve made a WordPress-based one-pager which consists of a regular page. I’ve considered specifying the author meta data for various networks by hand, but I’d love to know if there’s a way to have the WordPress SEO plugin do the job for me 🙂
