empty spans stripped out

    Hi. I had to use some empty span tags (within paragraphs and divs) for styling purposes, but it would appear that your wysiwyg is set to strip out empty spans. I was able to work around it by adding a useless class attribute but it would be better if this was adjusted.
    Thank you and in general thank you for the plugin. It’s very helpful.

    this is a known issue, but it depends on WordPress and not directly on our plugin.
