I was too quick. It seems that it works great in the emails but not in the email subject lines. How to solve that?
Hey,
Thanks for posting, you can copy from here: https://emojipedia.org/
I just tested adding one to the subject and it worked for me.
Ben
I would note that there are probably some email clients where this doens’t work.
Hi,
I tested with this symbol. 📢
I tested it in the order confirmation email and then sent a preview email, and the emoji is not showing (receiving the email in Gmail).
When i reload the Kadence email customizer-page the 📢 is not saved in the Email Subject field.
Here is my test example in gmail.

I’m happy to send you a copy if you tell me which email.
I suggest you make sure the customizer can work and save content, it’s possible you have a plugin breaking the customizer and preventing you from saving fields.
It’s also possible if you are routing your email through an SMTP service that they could be stripping it out so worth testing.

Hi,
I have checked with PostMark which I use as SMTP-service and they have checked their logs and are saying that the emojis are not in the emial when it is transferred to them.
I checked again and when saving the email in Kadence Designer the emoji in the subject line disappears, it is not saved.
I tried putting my other plugins inactive but still I have the same issue.
Anyway, this is not super important to me, so I will leave it for know, hopefully it is fixed in the future.
Hey,
So the issue is with your customizer not saving. If you’ve tried deactivating all plugins and using a default theme, then it’s possible you have some security feature preventing the emoji from being saved to the database.
Just to be clear, this works for me on several servers so I wouldn’t expect any change until you find out what is unique about your setup. Either plugin, theme or some server security.
