• I ran into problems when I tried to move WordPress to a new directory, so I had to uninstall it. Since I could no longer access my Admin page, I had to uninstall the files manually, using a FTP client.

Now that I’ve deleted all the files, is it truly uninstalled, or is there some other action I have to perform before I reinstall it in the proper directory?

    Thanks.

  • when yu reinstall, you will need to either remove the tables that were created in your database, OR, edit the wp-config.php and use a prefix other than wp_ for the tables.

I was able to delete my database via my C-Panel. Thanks for the tip.
