embedding gallery

    please won’t someone post a step-by-step on how to embed Gallery2 into wordpress. I already have the image chooser installed. I’ve been tryin’ and tryin’ and can’t seem to get it done.

    I use wpg2 on my site. It really is the best gallery2 integration plugin. Check it out…

    I’m a newbie so maybe this is a stupid question but still here it comes: I have to install gallery2 in content/plugins and I need WPG2 to embed gallery into wordpress?

    First you need to install gallery2 and then install /configure wpg2 so that it integrates gallery into your wordpress theme. If you are going to do this, I would recommend that you read the install doc here.

    The hardest part for me was to get gallery and wordpress to both use rewrite. Once I figured this out it was pretty easy. Install gallery first and then move onto the wpg2 install/configuration. Good luck!
