Hi Vovodroid
Can you perhaps try the core WordPress Text widget for inserting JavaScript and let us know how that goes?
It’s OK. It’s also OK with SiteOrigin Text widget.
Super, glad to hear you’re able to proceed.
All the best.
Well, I’m also glad ))) But I’ll be much more glad if I don’t need split RichEditor to several pieces with Text widgets in the middle for scripts.
Could you perhaps test the Visual Editor widget and see if the result is the same?

Thanks
That’s exactly workaround I use!
So to confirm the issue persisting only in the SiteOrigin Editor and not the Black Studio TinyMCE Visual Editor?
Could you send your script via http://pastebin.com/ so I can log the bug?
It can be any script just <script>alert("Hello! I am an alert box!!");</script>
So sequence is following:
Insert Row, then SiteOrigin Editor.
Switch Editor to text, insert script. Click “Done”. Again open Editor, script is here.
Click “Update”, go to Editor – script is missed.
Just had a quick chat with @gpriday. Sounds like we have resolved this challenge in the latest Widgets Bundle update.

Perhaps give the update a try and let us know how it goes.
Vesrsion 1.5? I have it, doesn’t work.
Apologies. It sounds like everything but scripts was allowed. Let me chat further with our Widgets Bundle developer tomorrow and get a clearer picture. I’ll report back ASAP.
Chatted with Braam our developer now. Apologies again for all the confusion. We’re doing the same checks Black Studio (Visual Editor widget) does. Script tags are being stripped our for security purposes.
Nevertheless, Black Studio works, SiteOrigin Editor doesn’t.

Do you mean you by intention prevent usage of java scripts?
Let me confirm the comparison quickly.
Thanks, confirmed. Black Studio is allowing. Let me chat with the team again. Thanks for your participation.
