Emails delayed after posting

    Hi there!

    Thanks for the great plugin!

    I’ve noticed that there is a bit of a delay between topics being posted on the forum and emails being sent. Sometimes it’s taken up to 15 minutes for a message to be sent. Do you know if there is any way for me to reduce that delay time?

    Hi bpyne,

    The emails are sent at 2 possible times: immediately or via wp-cron, which runs the next time the site is hit – it depends on whether you set background mailing or not.

    You might have background mailing turned on (which is recommended if you have a large list of people to send messages to).
