Email template not working

I just changed my password on a test user account, and the email I received confirming the password change has the generic (wrong) email address, sender name, and message. However, under the email settings there’s no section customizing for this particular kind of email. I had previously customized all possible email messages under the settings and all of them that I’ve tested have worked properly until this one. Am I missing something or is there some way I can fix this?

Hi,

Are they changing the password via our plugin or via WordPress? Maybe you can share a screen capture here so that I can what you mean.

Hi @mbrsolution thanks for the quick response! The password was changed via the plugin on the user account page (see link #1), and the email I received is link #2:

Hi, for the “From Email Address” setting, do you have an entry like:
Your Name <adin@example.com>?

I do have mine set to E-News <info@enewsdispatch.com> in the email settings tab, and it has appeared that way for all other plugin emails that I’ve received so far.

Hi, try the following plugin
https://wordpress.org/plugins/manage-notification-emails/ it can help you turn off the e-mails sent by WordPress when a user password is changed.

That worked well for disabling it, so thank you! Is there any way to adjust the contents that particular message if I want to keep it?

https://wordpress.org/plugins/bnfw/. This one can help you edit most of the e-mails sent by WordPress.
