email from wordpress!

Does WordPress send out emails from the address wordpress@mywebsite.com? I’m using ‘mywebsite.com’ as an example?
I got an email about an error on my site and I’m wondering if this is a genuine email from WordPress or it’s a phishing email? There are links to click on, etc. in the email.
Email I received starts off like this:
“Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Jetpack by WordPress.com…..
