Hi. My client got the error today:
EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.1.1 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Other SMTP
You must provide at least one recipient email address.

Please review your WP Mail SMTP settings in plugin area. Consider running an email test after fix it.

After a few tries it worked, but I’m worried about why this happened, there was no change in the plugin settings, could this be related to the mail server?

  • Hi @panfil3,

Thanks for reaching out! The error appears on the dashboard when the last email sent from your site failed. And it seems the last email was failed because it was sent without a recipient email address. You’ll need to identify the plugin that is sending an email without any recipient. Email logging plugins might help if you encounter the error again or your SMTP provider might have logs of all the emails.

    I hope this helps!

Hi @panfil3 – We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
