Editor does not appear in Appearance menu

Hiya,

I have just signed up to WordPress, but know that there is supposed to be an ‘Editor’ option in my Appearance menu.

It’s not there!

Can someone please tell me what to do to make it appear?

I’ve looked at other posts for similar issues, but none seem to quite fit the bill for me.

FYI, I’m using a free theme.
