Editor background color not matching theme

    Hi! I tried the editor option “Use theme styles” but it does not seem to change anything.
    I have w hite text on transparent (white) background which looks very bad in the browser but great in the iframe where I display it (over dark background).

    But when I try to add a new post its white text on white background. I tried some plugins and changing the theme css but the background does not change. Its hosted and I cant upload new files. How can I change the edtior to have a dark background?

    Forgot to add, I use WordPress 5.7 and tried different themes. Right now its Astra but it seems “read more” buttons are not working/missing so I will change to another one soon.
