Editing Existing Post

I’m having an issue with the user’s ability to edit their existing post. I have my users at the Author level. Each author must have their posts approved by an administrator. Therefore, in Frontier Post settings, I do not have “Can Publish” checked. This is ok for when they create a new post as it goes under Pending Review. However, once the post has been approved and it is live on the website, when the user clicks to Edit their post, they receive an error message that says “You are not allowed to edit this post!” If I check the “Can Publish” button, they are allowed to edit their existing and approved post.

Is there any way around this to allow the Author to go in and edit their existing post without providing “Can Publish” capabilities in Frontier Post Settings?
