    I created a website a few years ago and need to make some edits, but I am technologically challenged and can’t even figure out how to get in and do that. I’ve logged in and tried to find a way to do that but simply can’t… Help!

    And…I don’t know how to determine what version of wordpress I’m even using, so I just entered 4.2 since I had to pick something…

    What exactly are you trying to change? What is the URL of the site?

    The URL is jeigen.com. For now I’m just trying to fix a typo and update my photo, with the typo being the most important thing because it’s of course embarrassing! I somehow got into my wordpress account earlier and have a “howdy johannaeigen” at the top right, but even the dashboard is totally blank and there are no options for editing anything.

    Then, when I tried to log in again I couldn’t get the username and password to match despite “updating” password several times — now nothing is working at all.

    I really hope you can help. I’m having a meltdown… 🙁

    That is a WordPress.com blog, which we really can’t help with here.

    To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_vs_WordPress.com
