Editable shortcode for users

Hello,
I have the profile page of certain users where I should be allowed to insert some custom shortcodes. ( Every user has its own calendar, and they should be able to insert custom shortcodes to display the, ).

Is it possible?
I already tried with a custom text area, but if I post my shortcode, it doesn’t display anything but the text [ bla bla bla ].

Could you help me?
