edit wp pages

Hi, using a hemingway theme short code plug in, I used an animation short code to get a Caption on the home page to flash.The flashing worked. However, it was not anymore possible to get the line (two words in the english page version) centered in the page, once the Caption was placed inside the short code with the pages editor
I guess there is a way to get the caption centered as a text anyways, probably in defining that there is some space to be let free and that the caption text starts at a defined point, short code or not.
How could such be set up?
