Edit profile page is poor

Is there any plugin or any way I can change the edit profile page so it fits in with the rest of my site? It’s very annoying spending weeks designing a nice site only for people to have to go the ugly admin deashboard to edit their profile. This is the only problem with wordpress, and I can’t seem to find any way to change it to fit in to my theme.

I was thinking a good idea would be to include the edit profile fields in to my own custom page, but I can’t get that method to work. Any ideas?
