edit navigation bar – please help

I’ve have now switched themes like four or five times – all becuase I hate the way the navigation bar looks.

Can someone please advise me on to what line’s (codes) I need to play around with in order to edit the naviagion bar? Change the fonts, size, push it to the middle a bit more, maybe center it?
