Have you installed into two directories ?
are you sure you have <?php edit_post_link(); ?>? silly question i’m sure.
Are you using 1.2.1 or 1.3?
Go to your Admin page, under “Options.” Make sure your “WordPress address” and “Blog Address” are correct. If your “WordPress address” has a “www” in it, try removing it and see if the edit links come back.

I am having this problem (no edit link) on firefox only. I cleared cookies and the address is already the abbreviated for in the options –> http://coolthaihouse.com/blog. My scenario may not be exactly the same as some others as I just installed WP in another directory, which apparantly caused the problem. I notice PODZ asked that
