Did you contact your host or are you on your own personal server?
Hello Cory,
Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the delay. I was still building my site.
My site is being hosted by GoDaddy. I keep getting the same error when trying to run Duplicator.
Thank you for your help!
Hey Nikoneddie,
What did Godaddy say after you contacted them. This is something they have to make sure is enabled on their servers…
Thanks~
Hello Cory,
What is it that I need to tell them? Would you mind letting me know what to ask them to do.
Thanks again!
Just tell them your getting this error:
Zip Archive Enabled Fail Error.
Hello Cory,
I contacted them and it passed, but now I get the following errors. What I don’t understand is that everything passed as good except for the Zip Archive on my previous attempts.
Thank You!

I am also getting this issue on bluehost which is pretty unusual. Did something in this zip checker code change recently?
@nikoneddie 38.7GB is going to be to large, especially on a budget host. You may have to use the file filters to get the size down.
@hongpong The code for this has not changed is a long time. The check is pretty simple:
$dup_tests[‘PHP’][‘ZIP’] = class_exists(‘ZipArchive’) ? ‘Pass’ : ‘Fail’;
Struggling with this error on GoDaddy and have spoken to their support who are struggling to fix it… tried numerous options to fix, e.g. http://www.smallbizgeek.co.uk/wordpress-duplicator-ziparchive-failure-solution/ and still no luck… Can you please advise on what GoDaddy did to get this working? Thanks for assisting.
You can enable php zip archive in Godaddy shared hosting following these steps:
