look in the feed items menu and see if you find duplicates there…if you are on a slow server, that may be a problem..here is how the plugin deals with possible duplicates:

OK. I checked that and there were no duplicate feeds in that section. However, I had another site that start doing triples and quadruples. I found that “somehow” the feed list, after the last update, had multiple feeds that were the same….some were in there 4 times and that was not how it was before. Regardless, I just deleted those out and it repaired that issue. On both of the issues I am not using feed to post. That is where I am getting stuck. The permalinks are the same and I am not sure how to resolve. It is happening on a few feed on the same site where I am simply just scraping and displaying the feed without importing the feed to a post. Any ideas???

My sense is that problem lies with your server…seriously, I’ve seen this happen with my plugin, but also with other plugins, that when people are on a slow server, the database sometimes can’t make a connection to determine whether the post has already been entered into the database. The code works like this – it takes the permalink and then connects to the database to see if this permalink already exists there – if it does, then it doesn’t allow the post to enter into the database again…but if it misses a connection, then this check won’t work.

As always thank you for the continued support on an awesome plugin. Sometime has passed and the issue has gotten worse and affecting both posts short codes and feed to post. Working with IT now to check server…..anything new that I could pass along? Thank you,
Chazlight, if this is mission critical for your site, you should start looking for a working and better supported plugin..
I was quite bullish on this plugin until a few things occurred..
- an update wiped out some of my sites
- key functionality stopped working
- the support dried up around here
In my most recent site build, NONE of the shortcode functionality was working as in older versions. and I was getting no responses here.. So I installed a similar (commercial) plugin and will not be looking back unless and until this plugin is fixed, and the support is again back.. The client sites using this plugin that are still working I have NOT updated to the latest version of this plugin intentionally, and I will eventually convert those client sites to other plugins as well.
