Is there a way to duplicate an existing form? I need to make several long, detailed forms that are similar but not exactly the same. It would save a lot of time if I could copy the first one and then just make the needed changes.

I don’t see a way to do this. I tried exporting the first form, renaming it and re-importing it, but that just replaced the form that was there.

Please let me know if I’m missing something. Thanks!

  • I exported the form and opened the .json file with a text editor such as CodeLobster (Free Editor) or Dreamweaver and changed the first line the ID”:”CF53e005fdb14ca” I changed one letter and renamed my old form then imported my new form. It Works!

Example: {"_last_updated":"Sat, 09 Aug 2014 20:33:18 +0000","ID":"CF53e005fdb14ca","name":"Select Services you wish to inquire about"

Good Luck yeah what he said lol

Each form is given a unique id when created. When inputting, the imported form retains this I’d. So importing will just update the existing form.

I’ll add into the next update an id creation on import. So importing will essentially create a new form.
There was a reason I made it retain the id but I can’t remember right now. Either way, I’ll make the change and update within the week.

Ps. Thanks for the great review. 🙂
