I am facing the same problem. Does using mini plugin affect security on e-commorce website? since I understand from above that there is something related to SSL certificate?
No, that affects only BackWPup.
Same problem. Installed the mini plugin. Now I get to the DB website and can Allow Acces. But WP admin keeps saying: “Not authenticated!”.
@j Rambo: That is not the same. You can test the Version from https://github.com/inpsyde/backwpup there is a new auth system for Dropbox implemented.
I meant that I initially had the same problem.
Will test that version soon.
Thanks for your reply!
Hello,
I’m also getting this error “DropBox API: (59) Unknown cipher in list:…”
with latest version installed.
Have this been corrected?
thanks for this great plugin!
It is only fixed in the Version on Github. Release will ame if it is completly tested.
I’ve been using the latest version from GitHub. Working like a charm so far!
Thanks! The mini-plugin works!
Once I’ve authenticated DropBox, should I deactive and delete the mini-plugin?
Do you have a timeline for a fix to the main plug-in?
Hi, I’m getting the same message and can’t authenticate Dropbox. When you do think the new version backwpup will be released? Thank you Daniel and let us know when is out!
Excellent, the mini plugin solved the problem…
Mini Plugin did the fix-it trick. Thanks Daniel.
Same issue and confirming that miniplugin did the trick regarding the error, but I got another issue afterwards – after starting the job all I get is ‘Job “Database (weekly backup)” started.’ and nothing happens.
Any advice?
same issue. When will this fix be incorporated into the main plugin.
