can you please provide me a url?
Hi, I’m also having the same problem. I LOVE the arcade theme, but the dropdown menus seem to be glitchy. Perhaps having a more pronounced delay on the dropdown (when it actually drops down) might help. But for now, I can’t access ANY of the subpages on my dropdown links.
MY URL: http://www.colbyrrice.com/about-colby/
Test the drop downs and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. I love this theme and would like to buy the full version, but if the dropdown problem persists, I’ll have to get a new theme. Please help! π

This is a URL for one of the pages that has sub-items under it but doesn’t show them anymore after the update.
coconisha85 – your menu is a bit glitchy but at least your sub-items show when you click on the menu. (P.S. looks like we have similar taste in books. I just submitted for the 2 free ones)
So I have tried everything c.bavota has suggested in previous posts (ie. making the parent page have a # instead of a URL, turning off all my plugins to make sure they weren’t interfering with the theme) and still no go.
the drop down menu of my subpages no longer worked

So exactly what is the issue? If you click on the main menu item, the submenu items don’t appear? They appear but you can’t click on them? You click on them and nothing happens?
When you click on the parent page to get a the dropdown menu, the sub-items don’t even appear.
@tricera711 – the submenus work under the “About Dr. Sara” item because the top level menu item link is set to #. The submenus don’t stay on the screen under “Treatments & Programs” because the top level menu item is linked to a page.
Hi, my submenus are not displaying in my theme. When I try to edit them they show as they are supposed to, but immediately it shuts down and in the website there is still no show.
Thanks bdbrown but I changed the link to a # upon a previous suggestion by the designer with no avail. I’ve also tried doing the parent page as a page and a link which worked previously but not after the upgrade.
Ok, so, either somebody’s been working on this or the # trick finally worked. To fix this problem, instead of having a page as the parent, create a custom link with a URL of just a “#” then name it what you would like to see as the menu category. Add that in menu editor and then just slide over the subitems you’d like under that menu option.
Glad you got it fixed. The theme hasn’t changed. That’s the way the WP menu is supposed to work. If you don’t have any further questions here please mark the topic as Resolved. Thanks.
