okay so i realized i didnt go in and change the doman name before id id everything. is there a way in filezilla to erase everything i uploaded to the new server and start over? i dont knwo what was tehre to begin with but i dont really care if i los ethe whole site because hopefully ill be able to get the one switched to it.
help!
Did you also dumped the older database and tried importing it to your newer domain’s database?
Make sure you create the database username,password and add it to the database you current want to use.

okay. i deleted everything that was old off the capseeckworks site, and copied all the qtothelo stuff over. before i did that in wordpress i went under settings and changed the domain and something else to caspeechworks.com. now i cant access ANYTHING!!! i want to cry.
how do i create the database username etc you speak of?
Didn’t you backup your previous database?
Wordpress also requires database to store your blog content.
You can use your cpanel to create the database user.

hello again. i have no idea what it means what you wrote. i wish there was a wordpress expert i coudl call and ask questions in real time.
the last thing i did that messed everything up was this: i went under qtothelo.com, and in wordpress changed the url and domain names to caspeechworks.com, then using filzilla downloaded and the uploaded to the new host numbers that belong to caspeechworks.com. prior to doing that i deleted all folders on the host of capseechworks.com. but now when i accessi t from my computer i still see 2-3 pages of that website although others cannot. i cannot see anything on qtothelo.com at all.
can anyone help me? i am so lost and desperate (and obviously pretty clueless). thank you
