Hi

I would like to download the event dates in file on my desktop. How can I do this?

Hi,

You’d need to use WordPress Tools > Export feature.

I am sorry if did not clarify myself earlier. I have a button in the sidebar that I would like use in a such a way such that when I click it, I can download the dates of the event I am viewing . Something like a Download button for event dates

Sorry, something like that would only be possible with custom coding.

Can the ical feature be used for this purpose?

You might be able to adapt it. But it’s meant for importing events into a live calendar.
