I don’t see the symptom at the moment, you’ve presumably found a workaround.
As the plugin is not widely used (9,000 installs), I’d suggest starting in their Forum to see if problem is localised to Czr.
Did you try using a different Theme as a test?
If there is a Theme problem, I can report it to the Developers
The problem still exits,
currently I’ve chosen a pop-up opt-in form,
It appears after 30 seconds on any blog post on my website.
If you closely see it, you’ll be able to see that the pop-up appears twice.
Like you said, I’ll check it with other theme and tell if the problem persists,
in which case i’ll open a thread regarding the same in the plugin’s forum.
Which browser are you using? I use FF for development and can see that when the popup comes in, there is some kind of animation but the final frame is a single form.
Also, maybe try the settings at Customise>Global>Image. There are a couple of Lightbox settings which you could try unchecking.
I’m using Google Chrome for development,
And I recently set up a local working environment for my blog using wamp server.
I don’t think that Lightbox effect can cause this problem. But I’ll give it a try. My first priority now is to make a child theme.
