Upon checking your website https://festprissen.se/, we see that the title tag is outputting as such:
<title>Party, Maskerad & Roliga Prylar online – FestPrissen.se</title>
It doesn’t seem to show any double title separators. Were you able to resolve the issue? If you edit the homepage SEO title, could you check if the input is correct?
Ok, maybe it’s not but when i check the site:festprissen.se in the browser i can see double separators in the meta title.
There are not double separators in the yoast plugin.
@festprissen Whereas Google typically uses the title from the metadata for indexing, this is not always the case. Google will sometimes modify the title of the URL as it sees fit, as well as sometimes adding the brand or sitename to the end of your title. This is not due to the plugin not functioning as expected, but rather is due to Google modifying the Title it indexes as it’s algorithm has concluded that there is a better version to index.
