What I’ve been able to figure out is those second links are individual image links from the Media Library. How would I be able to stop search engines from Indexing those links or stop the links from appearing.
Thanks in advance,
Madhu
How are your permalinks set under general settings?
Custom Structure : /%postname%/
I don’t think it’s an issue with permalinks as most people with double url posts tend to get the whole url repeated twice, mine just seems to be each individual image within a certain post, which I can view that url by going to the media library and clicking on “view” on any perticular image and it will have the url “http://www.madhuinc.com/dell-inspiron-15r-unboxing-review/dell-inspiron-15r-unboxing-15/” with the bold part being the image url.
Thanks,
Madhu
Yeah it doesn’t appear to be your permalinks…. that’s really strange.
Have you tried deleting your .htaccess, then regenerating your permalinks?
No I have not, how would I go about doing that? Just delete the htaccess file then how would I regenerate permalinks?
You would change the structure to standard, save, then reset back to postname, that should do it.
Ok thanks, let me give that a try.
For reference on your wordpress when you go to media and library, and click on any images “view” link what url structure do you get?

Interesting, maybe it’s a theme issue.
I tried what you suggested but still the same problem.
ah… hmm it maybe, yeah. Sorry. :\
Ya tried switching to a basic theme as well still same issue. Well thanks for your help, appreciate it.
It sounds like it might be a issue with the wordpress install itself. Have you tried backing up your theme, and uploads and reinstalling a fresh wordpress?
No haven’t tried that, didn’t want to really go through all the trouble haha.
But it might be the last option that I have.
Yeah that does sound like a lousy option, but you may need to look around some more…
