double homepage

I am new to wordpress and really need help , I want to get into my default homepage as it is showing all my posts, which are meant to be privately published, as this is to be a subscriber website. I created a second homepage with the correct information I wanted on there, but am unable to remove the default homepage or edit the default homepage, so that the posts are not seen but just the text that I want to have on there. Please can anyone help me I am not a programmer and I am learning as I go along. I went into appearance-menus and I can see the two home titles on there, but when I go to the pages section , I can only see the second homepage, not the default one, If I can find a way of editing the default homepage then I can then delete the second page. When I go to the pages section, it shows only the second homepage but not the default one which is the one I need to edit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
