Doesn't work, breaks your website, lacks support
-
Why is this the top result for plugin searches for “Google Analytics”? Because it’s called google analytics.
This plugin seems nice and simple at first, all you have to do is enter your google analytics site ID. Because it is so simple you think it would just work. But it doesn’t!
The code was never properly injected, instead it printed my google analytics ID in the header of wordpress. Deactived/Deleted the plugin and hoped it would undo the damage it did. It doesn’t!
Head to the support forum and found a similar complaint, someone asking where this plugin injects its code (where we can manually go to fix the damage this plugin caused). Developer’s response: “in the wp_head” area. I’m not a PHP master, which is why i use wordpress, so telling me it’s in the wp_head area is telling me to waste hours of my day Google searching about wp_head and figuring out that wp_head can be declared almost anywhere! Awesome!
Thanks Kevin, your broken plugin defaced my website and I’ll spend all day today trying to undo the damage.
