I have the plug-in installed, AND enabled, but in all of my posts, I’m still seeing the original WordPress comment system.
Before when I installed it, it automatically replaced the WordPress comment system, but not this time…
It is a fresh, out of the box install, I haven’t messed with any of the settings of the plug-in (except that I filled in the APP ID, & APP Secret).
I’m afraid I don’t know what more to say to be more specific then this, I hope this is enough info, thank you so much for your time, much appreciated!
Which theme are you using? Have you enabled Facebook Comments Box for the post types of interest?
The Facebook plugin for WordPress replaces your theme’s comment section with a listing of existing WordPress comments (if you have any) followed by the Facebook Comments Box social plugin.
If your theme does not include its comments functionality using the WordPress comments_template function then the comments functionality provided by the Facebook plugin for WordPress may not appear.

I am also facing this problem now. I have tried many days to find the errors and how to fix it. for mine, when I try to comment on a post in my website and select check box “Also post on Facebook” .. and then when I press Comment but the system says..”This comment has not yet been published to Facebook – Publish Comment”
Your plugin is the best of mine. But just fix Error in Comment Box. that should work for my website.
I think many people also facing the same issue.. could you please help.
