Does this plugin work with blog posts?

    Hi,

    I’m wondering if this plugin works with blog posts? I have a few blog posts categories. I want to have a form on my site that allows the user to subscribe to different WordPress post categories. Once subscribed, if I create a new post, I’d like the user to be sent an email.

    Is this possible with this plugin?

    Hi,

    Something like that would be possible, although we do not offer an out of the box solution so I guess the very short answer is, no. There is a long answer tough.

    It’s not really related to our plugin, but we get this question asked a lot so here is an article we wrote about this: https://kb.mc4wp.com/send-email-campaign-with-latest-posts/

    To make this work per category you need a RSS feed per category and you need to custom code the form so it sends in the category as an interest group. This means you would need to manually create an interest group in your MailChimp.com account for each category as well.
