Does not work on Backend Orders

We’ve been using this plugin for several years successfully; it allows giftcards to be used by the customer on checkout and we could manage and create store credit giftcards on the backend.

In the last release, they disabled the deduction functionality on the order admin screen so you can apply a giftcard but it doesn’t deduct from the balance. After contacting support, they said that this functionality was a bug previously (for the last 2-3 years?) and it was intentionally removed.

We’re now shopping for a new giftcard plugin.

TLDR: If you’re only using it for customers on the front end, you’re fine. If you’re using it to apply giftcards from the admin screen, find another solution.
