  • Looking for the same thing here. I’m trying to design a “rider profile” which is a page that should display a team rider’s statistics, personal info, favorite music/movies. Each should be displayed in its own section.

    All i need is to be able to split a page post up in different divs with different css classes.

    all my posts is in one page, and it seems to be longer and longer. what should i do to divide them into pages as my page is getting longer each time i write a post. pls help.

    Thanks.
    Serene

    options -> reading
    define number of posts on each page.

    about 10 posts in a page.

    oh got what u mean. thanks

    Next question, what abt the recent post on my side bar. is getting longer as well. please advise.

    thanks

    Use the more tool in editor.

    This makes only anything above the line visible on the front page then you have to click “Continue Reading” to get the rest.

    I have to it to only show images and title at http://www.stevesbarfridge.com

    Serene, just go to your dashboard again, go to “design” and “widgets” and on the right “edit” the “recent posts” widget and set the number of posts you want to show.

    Hi Gangleri

    In my dashboard i couldnt find any design or widgets on my right. please advise.

    Ah, you’re on an old version. “Options”, “design” (or lay-out, what was it?) and “widgets”, that is, if your theme is widget ready. Otherwise just put a recent posts code in your sidebar.php or even easier: get an up to date WP and start using widgets!
