Display custom field

    Hi

    I want to display one custom field in a post. However, I want it to air with square brackets around it like [FIELD]

    But if this custom field isn’t assigned to a post, I don’t want to see [].

    So is there a way only to get the square brackets to appear IF this custom field is assigned?

    I’m not sure what you mean. You can have a custom field on a post-by-post basis. If you put nothing there, it won’t appear. If you populate it with whatever it is you plan to put there, that thing (whatever it is) will appear. So you can style that however you want. I’m not understanding exactly what you are getting at, I guess. 🙁
