disastrous website migration to wordpress
-
We have a functioning multilingual cityguide with user comments, citygonodotcom. We contracted a migration to wordpress and the result is so unimpressive , we’re not sure whether to bin it or fix it. http://webhawkstechnology.com/city_go/
We requested all the existing functionality, multilanguage, mother-child database hierarchies (island-city-zone), banner management, manually editable Google maps, newsletter signups for users, autocomplete data for new insertions, photo management, etc.
Apart from the apalling design (not even remotely similar to the existing site), does one accept it and get someone else to fix it or does one bin it ?
