Disappearing images (bizarre)

I have this bizarre problem with my theme.
The images are chosing when to work or not – it’s true.

The lower slice of the main image (glamorous-sky.net) and the first icon (date icon) are swapping turns when to load. Sometimes they’re broken, sometimes they load. Sometimes if I scroll back up the page they’ve disappeard.

It’s bizarre I know!

Could it be my browser or is this wordpress?
