hmm I just tested “Hide All Post” and it should remove the “Goto Post” menu item but it is not. I will have to take a look at this it may be a bug.
I’m not sure why the other problem is happening. What do you have for the setting “Post Page Target Type”?
Hi, the Post Page Target Type is _blank. I have no idea what these settings do.
_blank just means open in new window. try changing it in _self and let me know if anything changes.
I tried all the different settings, nothing changes. The post opens in the same window, the browser back button (which is now available) takes me back to the document list ([mdocs cat=”All Files”]) still on the same browser window.
that sounds like normal behaviour. Can you but it back to _blank then try using a different browser and see what happens.
Hide All Posts (Non-members) seems to work, the Go to post option is no longer visible. On the other hand, now I can’t access the post from the back-end Document Library, document drop down, when I click Go to post I get this: Sorry you can’t see this Memphis Documents file you don’t have the proper permission. (i’m logged in as admin). I don’t care, I don’t need this function, as long as the users don’t have access to the Go to post link, I’m good.
I just don’t know what causes this message.
if you like, you can mark this topic resolved.

yes as an admin you will still see the goto post link. But a normal user will not see it.
